Suraj Rohilla, the boxing player of Jind district, is constantly bringing laurels to India including Haryana state.
The goal is to represent India in the Olympic Games and hoist the tricolor abroad by winning a medal.
Suraj Rohilla is a boxing and kickboxing player from village Fatehgarh in Jind district of Haryana state, who has won many medals in various competitions since 2014 till date.
Suraj won a silver medal in the 7th state level boxing competition held at Tohana from 16 to 18 July 2022, followed by a silver medal in the national level boxing competition held at Gannaur, Sonipat from 29 to 31 July 2022 itself.
In December 2022, from 16 to 18, Suraj won the gold medal in the 1st national level Bharat Boxing Federation Cup held at Mokhra, Rohtak. After that won silver medal in eighth state level boxing competition held at Bawani Khera in Bhiwani district from 23 to 25 December 2022.
Suraj Rohilla won the gold medal in the 48 kg weight category with a better performance in the International Boxing Competition held in Nepal from 7 to 9 January 2023.
Suraj is now 22 years old.
In 2014, when a self-defense camp was organized in the government school of the village, Suraj used to go to study on the pretext of skipping class, this hobby turned into passion, after that Suraj kept practicing under the guidance of coach Mr. Rakesh Saini.
Suraj's father Mr. Rajesh Rohilla does tailoring work and mother Mrs. Suman Devi is a housewife.
Suraj's parents made every possible effort to take Suraj forward in sports, due to which Suraj has made his own identity in the world of sports in today's time.
